Visits to Oktoberfest - A World Class Event

Welcome to the first Blog dedicated to visiting Munich and the annual Oktoberfest ritual. Many of us have been visiting this “celebration of all celebrations” as a group since 1993. We hope to share our experiences, provide tips for visiting, and give you our views on the typical “what to do” and “what not to do”. But primarily we want to have some good discussions with those of you who love beer, and may or may not have ever visited this fine event.

We are now approaching the 20 year anniversary mark in 2013, and we are psyched ! ! Please follow along as we plan and eventually execute our massive celebration for 2013.

Three Weeks From Today ! !

We will be rasing our steins in a boisterous Prost at the Hofbrauhaus.

I expect the volume of posting to heat up now that we are within shouting distance. Next milestone is our departure for Amsterdam. Looking forward to showing the newbies the sights, and seeing our good friends Barbus and Schlumbergerlady.
