Welcome to the first Blog dedicated to visiting Munich and the annual Oktoberfest ritual. Many of us have been visiting this “celebration of all celebrations” as a group since 1993. We hope to share our experiences, provide tips for visiting, and give you our views on the typical “what to do” and “what not to do”. But primarily we want to have some good discussions with those of you who love beer, and may or may not have ever visited this fine event.

Nice addition to the blog Senor Chugger.
It is calm... I have the good book out and am reminiscing on the great journey ahead. I still have 7 coupons left!
If you count all of my books, I have double digits in coupons.
I know, it's weird.. I have been excited for months now about the trip and all of a sudden …..I am calm about it. Still excited in a much more calm way..
I do find it is difficult to type with my hand holding a beer. In that final stretch of training where beer should be a 24x7 activity.
I went to a medical supply company and found a feeding tube rig, basically the same kind Stephen Hawking uses. With a long flexible tube, it frees my hands and delivers the golden nectar strait into my mouth. Works wonders. Good for when you are driving, too.
