It is starting to sink in that this is right around the corner. I now know that we have companions on our flight, which will be great. Our hotel is booked and we have a pretty good idea of what day trips we might make although we are definitely not set in stone. We will be adaptable...
At some point is there going to be a "meet up" post for the beer tents or group functions? Since we are the virgins, we are at the complete disposal of the more seasoned/pickled among you to tell us where to be and when. Ours is not to question why, ours is but to do or die!

Oops, been doing lots of training, so that isn't true.
Your key word is "adaptable", and that's what it takes. Our only scheduled event at the moment is the Hofbrauhaus on Friday. Our team arrives by train at 14:30, so will we go directly to our home base (Hotel Alfa), then off to the Hofbrauhaus. Expect to be there between 15:30 and 16:00.
We could schedule to meet outside, or you could meet us at our hotel. Betrunken and his team are at the Hotel Alfa as well. Where is your hotel?
I believe we are also currently planning on our religious sojourn to Kloster Andechs on Saturday. A great trip to a monastery with wonderful views, food, and, uh, bier. You are more than welcome to join us.
Most other events, such as when do we head to the Wies'n are typically ad hoc.
We are staying at the Hilton in Munich. It might be easier for us to meet at the Hotel Alfa on Friday as it might be tough to find each other at the tents. I will plan on being at the Hotel Alfa at 1500 on Friday, 9/23/11. That way we can tag along and watch the pros at work.
Since Friday is the Hofbrauhaus, it looks like it is better for you to meet us there. It appears to be about 2.5km from your hotel, so maybe a quick S-Bahn (to Marienplatz) or a taxi. We can all meet outside the Hofbrauhaus before entering. BarleyMan and I will be adorned in our BDG2M shirts (or at least I think that will be the plan),
