The eastern U.S. contingent arrives Friday at Munchen Flughafen at 07:50. Assuming customs and S-Bahn cooperate, we should be at ground zero (Hotel Alfa) around 09:30. What are the schedules for the remainder of the crew?
Barley Man / Paulaner Girl???
Night train to Munich at 7:16am at the Hbf.
Barbus / Schlumberger Lady???
Will arrive by Limo around 13 hrs.

Per the Official Oktoberfest Planning site, and numerous postings herein, Paulaner Girl and I arrive via Night train to Munich at 7:16am at the Hbf.
We'll stroll over to the alfa, checkin and then we may go for a walk, or down to Marienplatz for breakfast (not at Burger King).
Meeting up at 9:30 or 10:00am seems doable.
Well Excuuuuuuuuuuuse Me.
A bit testy Barley Man?
I feel like I am at a Town Hall meeting!
Testy and partisan. Obviously afraid of free speech.
Travelling with Chugger, who usually is a bit more "up" than I am after the travel. I still admire those who can take that trip and be fully charged on arrival. I'm usually not. However, experience has shown that I get a second wind, so will push through the first day. As I understand it, Marionsplatz, then HbH, then Marionsplatz, then the biergarten around the corner from Alfa, then Shakespeare, then donner, then crash. Up early the next morning for breakfast and train trip somewhere. I'll be on the active decision loop sometimes, sometimes not.
Me and me Lady will arrive by Limo around 13 hrs. After check-in we will have a champagne lunch at "Konigshof". After we will let us drive to HoffBrauHaus and will let us bring to our VIP seats. So we will show up between 3 and 4.
Sounds all very civilized Mr. Barbus!
I thought it was you who started this :)
I thought this year we were going to the tents, then to the HbH?
As usual, Paulaner Girl is the voice of sanity, and once again Einfahrt is, well, Einfahrt.
scary
The admonition to provide only trip-related-value-add is unfairly discriminatory.
I haven't a clue and I'm already down two rounds.
just agree with us, it's the only safe thing to do
