Join us as we plan and document our travels to the land of pork products and the golden nectar; Oktoberfest. Enjoy as we experience a World Class Event full of fun, frivolity and Gemütlichkeit.
Here's the countdown to the start of Oktoberfest 2025...
Fortunately, many Americans do watch his show. His show has the top viewership numbers for that time slot for the past several years. Unfortunately, just like so many other examples, people often let their ideological views cloud their reason and judgment.
I think Einfahrt, Holmes and I must change our Oktoberfest flights to come to Amsterdam first and then report back to Mr. O'Reilly.
Unfortunately anyone watches the drivel on fox. The comments shown in the clip about Amsterdam being Anarchy are typical of the slanted "reporting" on Fox.
O'Reilly is a boob.
Nice to see Change is working and the economy is recovering.
I agree, nice to see change is working. [sarcasm] Projected debt of close to $10 trillion, government run auto industry, government meddling with the financial industry, government paying people to buy cars (cash for clunker appliances is next), democrats calling honest people trying to voice their opinion nazis, government trying to take control of the entire health industry; phew, I'm out of breath. [\sarcasm].
It is also nice to see that those who thought B.O. was different now know he is and are Changing their opinions. Love those poll numbers. Can't wait for when we get to debate this in person and see if you really can maintain a straight face.
Since we don't make this a politcal blog, I'll stand by the Bush appointed Bernane who stated: "economic activity in the United States and around the world was "leveling out," and "prospects for a return to growth in the near term appear good."
Unbiased... not Fox, not CNN, not Rush The Entertainer.
Wow, that's a first, crediting the "recovery to Bush.
It was bound to "level out" if you just let economic forces work. I expect you also believe that the unspent "stimulus" money is what is actually driving the economy, in spite of the growing deficit and debt. Both of which continue to sky rocket. Still Bush's fault?
As the anoited Ober Fuhrer, I look forward to our inebriated discourse.
I didn't credit the recovery to Bush. I just quoted the head of the federal reserve (a good example of Obama's Non partisan leadership).
Anyone buying a car. The HUGELY successful car rebate program ends today.
Funny, the only President to lead a balanced budget, and reduce the debt was clinton, and all I heard then was complaint. Now, all of a sudden, dficts are bad. Ask Bush and reagan about deficits. They were both proponents of outspending ourselves silly.
Ok chugger tried to legislate what we can post the last few weeks leadng up to our trip. I think we should have rules regarding our discussions while we're there. I soooooooo don't want to have a lot of political arguements. Discussion is good, fighting is bad. Schumberglady and I will threaten to drag you all shopping. Or gasp, worse yet, to the wine tent!
Just for the record, the Ober Furher did not ry to legislate. He simply posed a question, and asked for a democratic vote. Apparently that's something some people don't understand. I wanted to listen to the people.
BarleyMan...
I agree, Knuff said. Other than Paul Krugman (?), your bell weather NY Times Nobel Laureate, when asked this morning about Bernanke's comment said (and I paraphrase), "he's wrong". He said the problem is people put it as either heaven or hell, and it's more like purgatory and will probably go back to hell. Now I'm not a Paul fan, but the point is you can pick your quotes.

So glad I brought "the truth about Amsterdam" to the blog. Makes it all more lively :)
Paulaner Girl...
