Here's the countdown to the start of Oktoberfest 2024...
Bob D. and I arrive 08:05 on Wednesday, and I believe BarleyMan arrives around 13:00. Any thoughts on plans for the boys? Do you know what time the girls will depart Thursday for München?
The girls leave Thursday morning early. The boys leave Friday morning early. On Thursday I believe best is we go to Volendam by Buss. Have an authentic lunch :). Go back and visit some typical Amsterdam sites. I will join in Amsterdam also for the evening. For Wednessday I believe a canalboat trip for orientation should do. Followed by a visit to Alkmaar (by Train) and meet the girls during dinner. Maybe I come up with better ideas when enjoying the Italian sun the next 2 weeks. Warm greetings from Torino!

That sounds very good for the newbies. They are able to see the true Netherlands, and then experience the night in the city.
