Places of Interest

Being the neophyte, I contacted certain people regarding suggestions of interest, knowing full well I have EXPERTS among our midst.
Several places, were: The English Gardes and some of their hidden Bier Gardens; Rottenburg on the Romantiche Strasse; Garmish-Partishkierchen; and Neuschwanstein Castle.
Did I make a mistake posting this? I'm sure I'll find out.

There is no way, shape or form that you can make a mistake by posting. (except maybe Paulaner Girl and her response to my "Rules" post).

Anyway...
Englischer Gardens is a great place. It is a very large "Central pArk like" place that has three highly recommended bier gardens; Seehaus, Chinesischer Turm and Hirschau. I believe we are actually planning a morning trip over there on Friday before the second wave of 'festers arrive. BTW, Englischer Garden is right by where your hotel is.

Rottenburg is a great walled city that survived the war. A full day trip, which we have done before, and well worth it.

Neuschwanstein is Mad King Ludwigs unfinished castle. A beautiful setting, and is the model for the Disney Castle.

All great places to visit. You can choose to hang (and drink with us), or go your own route. If you want to try one of these, they are certainly great day trips, and we can provide all the informatin you could ever need in order to visit.

Keep the posts coming ! ! !

I am quoting from your male rules post
"feel free to comment or and correct or amend any rule: especially you Paulaner Girl"
So what are you saying now?......

Getting a little defensive here, Paulaner Girl!

"Hey if the beer mug fits, drink from it"

What else would you do with it?

Sick, Sick, Sick....

Yes, we have tried that, but not as much fun as the real thing.
