Well fellow Oktoberfestians.... a rule change has been requested. If you remember, when this forum for exchange of ideas was established, one of the few rules, or more appropriately expectations, was that only those committed to this year's event could start new posts. All others, including those not even affiliated with this fine event could comment on existing posts.
Well, go figure. An alum feels slighted. So, even though the alum has not committed, this person feels discriminated against. The question is... should we allow past Oktoberfestians the privilege of posting, or should that honor be reserved for attendees?
As usual, the final decision rests with the administrator.

Let them be heard. Even though they have no standing, they should be heard.
Unlike the cruel spin going on right now with the Supreme Court, the individuals should be heard as to their intent to promote beer drinking and the like.
