Are you OK? Sheesh!! I remeber Dr. Juan. He was bad ass... for sure. Was he gentle? I used to hate when he did use enough lubricant. He has very fat fingers.
If I was you I should ignore his advise and JUST go!
This year 1x Mass costs euro 7.90 = 10.9844 US Dollar (rate 9/12). Next year a Mass will be for sure > euro 8.00 and when taken in account the expected further decrease of the dollar vs the euro in the next 12 Months (20%) next year one Mass will cost 13.30 US Dollar.
You also of course could consider not to go and wait till next year. When the price of a Mass is >20% more expensive it could include you drink 20% less. Calculated in your situation this means you have to LIFT 20% less number of Glasses. Quick calculation; this is about 4,4 Glasses per day you don't have to lift. This could be in the range of what in your powerlift condition is allowed.
As you see it is all a matter of how you look at it. For both options something is to say for.
This year will be less expensive compared to next.
Next year could be of less impact to your health condition. But then of course only when your condition does not get worse.
