Dario Diaz & Aram Guluzian Confirmed - Part II

Come on Oktoberfestians, overwhelm our newbies with information, insights, guidance, and down right worthless information.  They are looking to you to guide them to the promised land.  Show your sainthood, manliness and Oktoberfest expertise.  Try your damndest to make them say one of the following:
  1. What gods these Oktoberfestians are, I aspire to their alter of bierness.
  2. What a bunch of drunks.
Sometime in October will will survey the newbies to see the true answer.

Ah I believe Chugger again applies for the "Grand Puhba" title. Without a Grand Puhba we are lost in the Garten. And the newbees should honnor and respect him like we do (did?)

I do not know this word "did".

Is it Dutch?

The best part about it is that you can tell us anything and we wouldn't know any better. Think of the fun you could have at our expense?

I have taken everything you have said so far pretty much as gospel. I am not going to worry about getting tickets to the tents, I took a German name for the blog, I made the picture of Barleyman directing the band my computer screen background. We are basically going to guide ourselves by your sage advice. Remember, we have our 2 16 year sons with us...so we can't do any red light district stuff. But, everything else is pretty much fair game.

As a newbie guiding other newbie’s going to the fest in true earnest this year I have made it a point to follow the wisdom of this honored blog. My BDG2M is on order and the last of the arrangements are being made for purchasing plane tickets early, hotel accommodations in regards to stumbling ability, as well as the 5 star needs to see excursions like Fussion and Rothenburg. I am humbled and inspired by such precious knowledge gathered in one place. Truly a blessing...

My brother-n-law, myself and our wives attended the Oktoberfest in Munich in 2008. We were in Germany for 7 days all but one was spent seeing the sights and sounds found on the Romantic Road. The last was given to Mark and me to enjoy the fest which was a life changing experience!! Since then every year we have either held a little Oktoberfest party at our homes or gone to larger venues around DC. These things as methadone is to an addict, they are just enough to take the edge off. Mark as I have been aching to back and have just recently found the courage to ask our wives if we could go. They were not happy about it but in the end I think they understood how much we LOVE the real Oktoberfest. Buy the way I would love to know the technique used to secure from your wives the ability to attend this event every other year, because that is our goal. Anyway after we obtained the ok from the wives we started asking around to see who else would like to go. As it stands we have a total of 7 of us who plan to leave Dulls on Sept 21st and will arrive in Munich on the morning of 22nd. I originally had rooms booked at the Top Erzgiesserei. It is the place we stayed at in 2008, though after researching your information here, we are leaning towards booking at the Alfa. It is 6 blocks closer to the Wizen and is a bit cheeper. A much needed bonus. We are looking to getting another international drivers license and renting a car for the day, probably Saturday because 3 of our crew want to go to Fussion and the rest of us want to head to Rothenburg for a day trip. The rest of our time we plan on spending in the tents and gardens in Munich. Our return flight is on the 26th. Because I am the one most crazed about going I have taken it upon myself to do all the planning, that I why I am so grateful for all the useful and entertaining information you and your friends have posted. I know you wanted me to send an e-mail but I was unsure as to which address I should send too. If you could clarify that I will make sure to send one.
