Welcome Our New Members...

The following are the first Oktoberfest enthusiasts to be allowed to participate in this blog without being part of the actual "Oktoberfest Contingent":

  • Dario Diaz
These future Oktoberfestians found our blog, and BarleyMan's web site, and still thought it was important enough to contact us.  They believe we are the experts (smart guys), and wanted to join the blog to ask questions and get our insight.  Please welcome them and answer their questions as appropriate.  I do not know their plans for Oktoberfest 2011, but maybe we can guide them in the right direction.

Thanks. Aram and I decided to take a, "boys trip" with our 16 year old sons. When discussing what to do and where to go, Oktoberfest sounded like ALOT of fun for us. We ran with the bulls in Pamplona in 2007 and now decided on this. This site looked like a good group of guys who could be knowledgeable, friendly, and fun. Looks like we were right.

We know NOTHING about Oktoberfest except for what we read on the blog. I do, however, know that I should take a German name for this endeavor. So, henceforth, I will go by, "der Kubaner" on this site. Thanks again and I look forward to contributing.
