That's what happens if you don't have a good IPA.

I thought 'good IPA' was a contradiction in terms sort of like 'military intelligence'

It's really hard to find a good dark Ale here in San Diego. Restaurant I was in yesterday had all IPA/Pale Ales, 1 witbeer, and Mexican/Bud light. The place may have been known for it's "Taps" but it's shallow.

Yes, IPA or similar seem to dominate even places with many taps. I think it is the influence of all the damn 20 somethings and people like Keith who have somehow dulled (if not killed) their taste buds with too much hops. Here I thought sour beers were starting a new craze but it seemed to die quickly. Can still usually find one or two on a place with a lot of taps. There were three at the brew pub/pizza place that Keith and I stop in on the drive back from Dan's.
