Here's the countdown to the start of Oktoberfest 2024...
All depends on our 2023 travel plans. We will be traveling through Italy from mid-May and expect to be back home at the beginning of August. We may go back to Italy in early September. We could possibly combine this with the Oktoberfest. But everything depends on our first trip. For your information about our first trip, we will visit the Dolomites, Bologna, Marche, Vieste, Bari, Brindisi, Matera, Amalfi, Naples, Florence and Merano. And the 2nd trip all the places we missed. :-)
Now that sounds like fun! Are you renouncing your Dutch citizenship and becoming Italian now :-)
Heading down to visit Flying Dan for 10 days and hopefully we can decide on our travel plans. I'm trying to work in an 8 day Spain trip (Barcelona and Madrid) before a possible Fest visit. We have discussed maybe just a couple days if we do a pre-trip. Flying Dan is trying to do something with his oldest offspring as well.
No one else seems interested enough to chime in. Maybe our plans can come together.

I may not be able to do the Spain part, but a bomber run to Munich is a possibility.
